ABOUT
After graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2001 with a BA in Studio Art, Scott has pursued a career as entrepreneur and professional artist. In 2009, He founded The Glue Network, a cause marketing platform that connects individuals, their friends, and their favorite brands—together, to fund life changing non-profit projects around the world. Prior to Glue, Scott founded Risen Magazine, a progressive “pop” culture magazine that was distributed nationally through major chains including Barnes & Noble, Walmart and Virgin Megastores.
As a professional artist, Scott works with all various mediums to create large scale installation sculptures. His work is most often inspired by the Human Conflict—the battle that takes place between the head (intellect) and the heart (emotion or faith), as they wrestle for oneness through such life experiences as: faith, hope, love, justice, death, and poverty to name a few. Each one of his installations uniquely portrays a common life experience in a way that will spark a tension within the viewer—igniting a bout between their head and heart as they interact with the created environment and subject matter.
